Me in my GB kit ,Ready to race in September feeling good .

GB kit

My GB kit has arrived ,Its now three weeks till the world aquathlon champs to be held in Hyde Park,Training has been going really well and I have broke my 5km pb twice going from 16.31 down to 16.12 and then beating it again to get it down to 16.03 ,I would like to go under the 16 minutes before the world champs that was the aim when I started training to be in the best possible shape .

It has been a while since i posted its been a busy year with setting up my own business racing had to take a little bit of a backseat but i am back now and fully focused on a great season ahead . My first major race of the season was a World Aquathlon (swim and run)championship qualifier held at boxend lake and my aim was to qualify for the GB Age group team and to do this i needed a top 7 finish in my age group .Having looked at the start list before the race i knew it was going to be hottly contested as the champs are being held on home turf in Hyde park as part of the ITU triathlon grand final race so i knew i had to be on top form. I was very happy to finish the race in 6th and qualified automatically ,Looking forward to the champs itself i now want to get a medal i am going to nail my training from now till sept in order to achieve this .
